The 2027 Völkl SL R Jr is a junior slalom race ski designed for developing U12 to U14 athletes. Its length-specific construction is tuned to support quick edge engagement, precise steering, and a predictable feel through tight, technical slalom courses.

Völkl’s Grown Layup adjusts the core composition and Titanal thickness across the size range to better match different skier sizes and development stages. Shorter lengths use a torsionally softer tip to support smoother turn initiation, while longer lengths add Tailored Torsion Woodcore and 3D.GLASS. Full sidewall construction and an integrated Marker Junior Race Plate help provide direct power transfer and dependable performance on firm race surfaces.
