Rental Policy Summary
The Pro Ski and Ride offers daily and seasonal ski and snowboard rentals in Hunter, NY. Daily rental equipment must be returned by 5 pm on the final day of the rental. Seasonal rental equipment must be returned by the due date listed in the rental agreement. Renters are financially responsible for lost, stolen, late, or damaged equipment.
Daily Ski and Snowboard Rentals
What is included with a daily rental package?
Daily rental packages may include skis or a snowboard, boots, helmet, and poles when applicable. Package contents may vary by rental type.
When are daily rentals due back?
Daily rental equipment must be returned by 5 pm on the final day of the rental.
What happens if daily rental equipment is returned late?
Late daily rental returns may be charged up to two times the daily rental rate for each day the equipment is late.
Can I cancel a daily rental reservation?
Yes. Refunds are available for advance daily rental reservations if the reservation is canceled before 5 pm on the day before the first rental day. Cancellations must be made by emailing rentals@theproskiandride.com.
Are refunds available for late cancellations or no-shows?
No. Refunds are not available for late cancellations or no-shows.
How do I modify, extend, or cancel a daily rental reservation?

Seasonal Ski and Snowboard Rentals
When are seasonal rentals due back?
Seasonal rental equipment must be returned by the due date listed in the rental agreement. For the 2026/2027 season, seasonal rental equipment is due back by April 10, 2027.
What happens if seasonal rental equipment is returned late?
Late seasonal rental returns may be charged up to the current replacement retail price for equipment that is not returned by the due date.
Can I cancel a seasonal rental reservation?
Yes. Refunds are available for advance seasonal rental reservations if the reservation is canceled before the equipment is picked up.
Are refunds available after seasonal rental equipment leaves the store?
No. Refunds are not available once seasonal rental equipment leaves the store.
When must seasonal rentals be picked up?
For the 2026/2027 season, seasonal rentals must be picked up by December 20, 2026. Equipment availability cannot be guaranteed after this date.

Renter Responsibility
The renter is financially responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged rental equipment. This includes repair costs for damage to High Performance Demo equipment. Additional terms and conditions are included in the equipment waiver signed at the time of booking.
