  • A premium base structure is selected based on the ski, intended use, and typical snow conditions.
  • Factory edge angles are inspected and confirmed or reset to the manufacturer’s specifications.
  • Sidewall material is removed when necessary for accurate side-edge preparation and easier future maintenance.
  • Premium hot wax is applied with a Wax Future infrared waxing system, then fully brushed.

Other Considerations
Customers may include preferred base structures, race disciplines, snow conditions, custom edge angles, or other preparation requests in the order notes.

Base grinding removes a small amount of base and edge material and permanently changes the factory finish. Previously used skis or skis purchased elsewhere should be handled through the regular ski tuning department.
