THE PRO'S TAKE
Racing is in Head's DNA. Do not let the lightweight feel of Head's Kore series fool you, this ski can carve on groomers on the frontside as well as float down the soft stuff on the backside. The Head Kore is best for skiers seeking a lightweight freeride ski that enjoys more precise control than found in other manufacturer's freeride models.
Lightweight doesn't mean soft for the nimble, frontside-oriented KORE 85 W—ideal for resort skiing and touring too.
The KORE 85 W is a top-class, lightweight, frontside-oriented ski—with great touring capability as well. HEAD's weight-saving focus does not mean soft: A blend of materials reduces weight without sacrificing performance. HEAD fuses light Graphene into the tip and tail for a feathery swing weight. Light and stiff Karuba wood in the core is sandwiched by a triaxle weave carbon layer adding responsiveness.
The 85 is the most narrow ski The Pro carries in the Kore series. The Pro has options available up to 99 mm under foot to provide increased float in soft snow conditions!
