The Pro Ski and Ride

I had a great experience at Pro Ski & Ride! I scheduled a boot fitting with Gio and had bindings mounted on my new skis. Gio was extremely knowledgeable. He took the time to understand my needs before making any recommendations, never made me feel pressured to buy, and answered all of my questions thoroughly. Cathy at the front was also lovely! Overall, I highly recommend Pro Ski & Ride, it’s a local business that genuinely cares about their customers.

The glove is soft and comfortable in the hand; they great to wear. Very satisfied with the purchase.

Very happy with my ski full tune. The results are much better compared to other ski shops in my local area. They use the Wintersteiger tuning machine and it makes a difference.

I made an appointment online. I had an issue with a pair of foot beds. They went above and beyond with a true smile. They actually value all their customers.

As a new skier, and an older man with foot problems, I was told a boot fitter was the right thing for me. I made an appointment with Kathy and she was everything I could have wanted. So patient with me and able to explain everything she was doing in a way that I could understand. She made me feel confident in my boot purchase and truly took time with me to make sure I was satisfied before I left. It’s good to see some caring people are still out there

I love this shop, I been skiing since I was 3 yo. I’ve been patrolling for about 50 years. I know it seems that I’m old. Because that is true , but one thing I have is experience. Both with ( ski ) conditions and ski shops. I have spent many years skiing. More than 75 days a season. For many years. When we worked 6 days a week my count was 100+ a year.

This is a great shop. They understand boots and feet. That is the most importantly piece of equipment you will ever need. Connects your body to your skis

Gio and his team are exceptional at what they do. They took the time to explain every step and did not just push me into a new pair of boots. They corrected my current situation and when it’s time I will never buy boots any where else. You’re missing out if you don’t stop here before going anywhere else.

I went there to get custom foot beds for my ski boots on a recommendation from my ski instructor. Gio took great care of me, explaining every step of the process. He didn’t try to upsell me. The custom foot beds and adjustments he made will greatly improve my skiing. Thanks everyone.

I forgot my helmet for a day trip to Hunter and figured it was time to get a new one anyway (10+ years old) so I wanted to go to the shops before the mountain because they are typically small businesses and not marked up like at the resort. I had a horrible experience at the first shop we stopped in. The man helping us was super unhospitable and rude. I was so taken aback by the way he spoke to me that I decided I’d take my business elsewhere (he clearly was already bothered by the Saturday tourists, which I totally get!). But like I said off the jump, he was just bothered and unhospitable the entire time. At one point I even said “your hospitality is different than what I’m used too”, trying to hint to him that he was being rude to us for no reason.
We wound up traveling 30 seconds by car to this place, and I was so happy we did! Kathy was so hospitable from start to finish. I had to share my experience with her because she really turned my whole day around! She wasn’t bothered that I wasn’t from here or that I had questions about the expensive (and important!) equipment I was purchasing. Couldn’t recommend a better experience and business! I am so happy I chose to purchase my helmet here. Thank you Kathy!!
