THE PRO'S TAKE
The Lange RS 130 LV race ski boots has been highly sought after since we brought Lange boots into our store a few years ago. Lange pioneered the modern four buckle overlap ski boot and has continued to innovate. This low volume boot has a stiff but approachable flex with its Dual Core construction allowing for flex where your need it and rigid support where energy transfer takes place.
MANUFACTURER'S DESCRIPTION
The Lange RS 130 ski boots are the perfect choice for high-level skiers who are looking for the ultimate in performance. For this customer, comfort takes a bit of a back seat while fit and precision lead the charge. With a 130 flex and a 97 mm forefoot last, there's nothing really that forgiving about these boots. For experts, hard-chargers, and ex-racers, the RS 130 has been the benchmark of high-performance boots for nearly a decade. Ski boots are all about transferring energy from the foot to the ski, and this one does it just about as good as any boot in history. With a four-buckle overlap design and a solid sole, the RS 130 is a classic boot with a polyether shell and a World Cup dual 3D liner that's about as stiff as it gets. So if the 130 flex rating weren't enough, the liner has some serious strength to it as well. The bottom line is that if you're looking for the utmost in performance and precision, this is where you need to be. A gargantuan 50 mm power strap features a cam-lock, so wherever you pull it tight to, it'll stay right there. It's almost like adding a fifth buckle to the top of the boot. While the shell and the liner are both top-end in terms of stiffness and response, that power strap adds a whole new dimension of power transmission. Each and every bit of movement that you put into the Lange RS 130 will get instantly transferred to the ski.
